MFA holds its Media Hour
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its “Media hour” weekly meeting held Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave details about the 14th meeting of the Mongolia-China intergovernmental commission for trade, economy, science and technological cooperation, which was held on May 5-6 in Ulaanbaatar.
During the intergovernmental meeting, the sides shared views concerning projects and programs to be implemented with loans and non-refundable aid from China. Then four documents were signed.
The Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren signed a general credit agreement of USD 1 billion when he paid an official visit to India on April 27-29 at the invitation of Vijay Kumar Singh, the Union Minister of State for External Affairs, the MFA said.
The “Media hour” meeting reported on the Foreign Minister’s participation in the 12th “For Mongolian development” forum organized in Paris in frames of the “World Mongolians” program. Information also was given on the FM’s visit to the UK, present political and socio-economic situation in Mongolia, further tendency, the foreign policy and regional cooperation of Mongolia and forthcoming 11th ASEM Summit.
