E.Temuujin wins silver medal at the 2016 World 9-Ball Championships 

E.Temuujin has won a silver medal at the 2016 World 9-ball championships held in Shanghai city, China. Mongolia has been represented by three sportsmen coached by L.Battulga.

Mongolian basketball team showing success

The Mongolian basketball team has reached a quarter final of the World University Championships by defeating Australian team with 19:12 score. This is the first time for the Mongolian team to reach the quarter final of the championships which is underway Xiamen city, China.

 

Fencer B.Tsolmon becomes continental  referee

The Mongolian Fencing Federation announced today that it has received the performance results of Mr Tsolmon Batkhuu, who has past Referees Exam by the Fencing Confederation of Asia, held in Tokyo between October 20 - 23.

Master of Sports B.Tsolmon is the second highest ranking fencer in Mongolia and is the Fencing Grand Prix Winner and twice National Champion. 

 “UNDES JUDO CUP-2016” names its winners

UNDES Judo Cup 2016 was held for the second time in Ulaanbaatar. This year’s event was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the National Institute of Physical Culture of Mongolia. The competition has gathered 180 students from 10 universities of the country.

M.Ankhtsetseg honored by River club

Ms Ankhtsetseg Munkhjantsan, who is 19 years old, has showed brilliant success in the 2016 World University Championships held in Merida city of Mexico and  in the Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships of Asia held in Tokyo winning six gold medals altogether.  

The “River” club has honored Ankhtsetseg and her coach Ts.Khosbayar who have received several invitations from abroad, but preferred to stay at home.
