Harvard's Leadership in Medicine Program Awardees

Ulaanbaatar, February 13, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian
young professionals in the healthcare sector now have the opportunity to get
involved in Leadership in medicine: Southeast Asia program of Harvard
university, thanks to the cooperation with UNICEF.
A hundred young leaders of the
Mongolian healthcare sector will be benefited from this program during the next
five years of period. 2023-2024 Leadership in medicine: Southeast Asia program
was announced on January 3, 2023, and of the 265 applications received, 20 applicants who
work in private and public healthcare organizations were selected.
In addition to the Harvard
program, the selected participants will attend other training and workshops to
be conducted by UNICEF and NGOs, in healthcare sector reform, its legal
concept, personal leadership, organizational management, practice-based research,
and research methodologies.
On February 10, while receiving
the selected participants, the Deputy Minister of Health S. Enkhbold and UNICEF
Representative to Mongolia Evariste Kouassi-Komlan congratulated them on their
achievements and wished them success. UNICEF will gift laptop computers to all
selected participants and cover the travel expenses for training in Malaysia.
