The Outcomes of the Prime Minister’s Official Visit Discussed

February 27, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Prime Minister of
Mongolia L. Oyun-Erdene paid an Official Visit to the Republic of Korea between
February 13-17 at the invitation of his Korean Counterpart Han Duck-soo. The
outcomes of the Prime Minister’s Official Visit were discussed during the
non-regular meeting of the Cabinet on February 20.
Minister of Economy and
Development Ch. Khurelbaatar said, “This time, the Prime Minister’s Official
Visit to Korea was aimed at attracting foreign direct investment to Mongolia.
To that extent, the Prime Minister held several official talks and participated
in Business Forum, jointly organized by the Mongolian and Korean Chamber of
Commerce and Industry.
Moreover, the Prime Minister
received representatives of Korean leading companies, including Samsung
C&T, and Hyundai E&C, and exchanged views on investment opportunities
in Mongolia. In the further, foreign direct investment will play a vital role
in developing the Mongolian economy.”
