“Mongolian Days” Event to be Organized in Doha

Ulaanbaatar,
March 1, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Mongolia L. Sergelen to Qatar with residence in Kuwait
presented his Letter of Credence to the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al
Thani on February 22.
On the occasion of presenting
the Letter of Credence, the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani
received Ambassador L Sergelen. At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador L.
Sergelen conveyed the greetings of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin
Khurelsukh to the Emir and expressed his willingness to further develop
friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Qatar, especially the
cooperation in economy, trade, agriculture, culture, and tourism sector.
Noting
the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Qatar,
marking this year, Ambassador highlighted the plan to organize a “Mongolian
Days” event with Mongolian cultural performances, a business forum, and a
fashion show between March 5-6 in Qatar.
While
congratulating him on his assignment as the Ambassador to Qatar with residence
in Kuwait, the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani affirmed that the
Government of Qatar would pledge full support to the Ambassador’s further
endeavors to advance the cooperation in all sectors of our two countries.
