689 new cases of COVID-19 detected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. It was reported during today’s press
briefing of the Ministry of Health that 689 new cases of COVID-19
detected after tests performed in 23 laboratories nationwide in the past
24 hours.
In specific, 618 were detected in Ulaanbaatar city with three
hospital-acquired case as well as 68 were confirmed in rural aimags.
As of today, the total cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia now stands at 14,183. In the past 24 hours, 353 people have been discharged from the hospital, bringing the total number of recoveries to 8,875.
Currently, there are 2,527 people who are diagnosed with the
virus are undergoing treatment, of which 1,931 are in mild, 475 are in serious,
99 are in critical and 22 are in very critical health condition.
Moreover, one more COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing the total to 20.
