MNT 6 billion worth "Suu" bond released
Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC) S.Davaasuren hit the gong of MSE to welcome newly issued “Suu" bond today on June 28. With an interest rate of 17.5 percent and face value of MNT 100,000, the bond has a total value of MNT 6 billion. It is being considered as the highest valued bond ever traded at MSE.

Ulaanbaatar Railway Company to reduce loss through Tea Road project
The second Mongolia-Russia-China Tourism Ministers’ meeting was held on June 21 in Ulan-Ude, capital city of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia attracting an audience of nearly 200 tourism delegations and journalists of the three countries. Following the plan outline for building trilateral economic corridor, the tourism authorities have jointly set up the “Tea Road” international tourism alliance. Within the framework of “Tea Road” project, Chinese side set goals to send one million tourists to the tourist zone in Lake Baikal in 2018.

NCMCH wins United Nations public service award for telemedicine project in Mongolia
On June 23, the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH) of Mongolia received the prestigious United Nations Public Service Award (UNPSA) garnering  1st place in the category of “Innovation and Excellence in Delivering Health Services” for their work in implementing the Telemedicine Project in Mongolia. The NCMCH is one of 8 first place winners, selected from 552 nominations, and one of the 12 institutions from 11 countries to be recognized at the UNPSA 2017 for public service projects and initiatives aligned with the 2030 Agenda global Sustainable Development Goals.

15.8 thousand tons of meat supplied for public consumption
Development Bank of Mongolia has eased the interest rates of loans totaling MNT 63.4 billion provided to 12 factories. Accordingly, a total of 15.8 thousand tons of raw meat has been supplied into the market for spring consumption. Within the framework of the “First Meat and Milk Campaign”, actions to increase meat processing in the rural areas with wintering difficulties have been organized in cooperation with meat manufacturers.

Presidential election polls to close at 10PM
The Preliminary results of the  Presidential election 2017 will be projected through electronic visual display at the General Election Committee. The election polls will close at 10 PM throughout the country and each 1983 polling places will transmit the reports to General Election Committee’s server. Before transmission, the reports must be printed out to the observers. And once the reports are sent, the General Election Committee will reveal the results on screen, including the information of mobile ballot box votes.
