Bars Motors company of Mongolia opened a joint automotive assembly plant in Hangzhou, China on December 6 and launched the production of its first automobile.

State Central First Hospital opens clinical research and training center
A clinical research and training center has been commissioned at the State Central First Hospital to support development of students and trainees. The training center provides all needs for trainees including library, training rooms, online center, restroom and changing room.

Mining sector contribution to budget reaches MNT 2.6 trillion

Government calling for public inputs on ‘Vision – 2050’ long term development policy
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. ‘Vision – 2050’ Mongolia’s long-term policy document was handed over to Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh on January 03, 2020. Involving government ministries, agencies, scholars and experts, the draft document was formulated by a sub-working group set up upon an order No. 52 by the Prime Minister and a resolution No. 65 by Head of the Cabinet Secretariat of 2019.

Shadow economy fluctuates at 9.2-15.7 percent of GDP
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The National Statistical Office of Mongolia released a report on research made on the informal economy of Mongolia between 2015 and 2018. The report shows that the share of shadow economy in the country’s GDP has been fluctuating at around 9.2 – 15.7 percent in the last decade.
