The stocks of APU JSC are leading the market capitalization of companies listed in the Mongolian Stock Exchange. On January 5, the market rates of the company’s shares increased by 1.4 percent, with its share price reaching MNT 1,901. As a result, the company has reached market capitalization worth MNT 2 trillion for the very first time.

Citizens to get 4th dose voluntarily
 At its regular meeting today, January 5, the Cabinet assigned Deputy Prime Minister S.Amarsaikhan and Minister of Health S.Enkhbold to take measures on involving citizens in the 4th dose of the vaccine against coronavirus and providing related information and instructions in connection with the rapid spread of Omicron variant of the coronavirus in the world.

Updates made to temporary regulations on business operations during COVID-19 pandemic
At the regular Cabinet meeting today on January 5, the temporary regulations on operations of businesses were updated. Currently, 66.5 percent of the country’s total population have been involved in both doses, while 28.5 percent have been administered with an additional dose.

Coal and iron concentrate export decreases due to border closure
According to the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, 21,302.9 thousand tons of coal was mined last year. Last year, 15,941.7 thousand tons were exported, which showed a 44.3 percent decrease compared to the same period of the previous year.
