バトトルガ大統領就任からの一カ月
　モンゴル国第5代大統領ハ ルトマー・バトトルガ大統 領が就任してから一ヵ月が 経つ。新大統領の会議での言 葉、その表明した立場にお いて国民の目をいちばん引き つけたのは、モンゴル銀行総 裁、国際通貨基金代表との面 会だった。モンゴル銀行の N.バヤルトサイハン総裁が国 際通貨基金の拡張経済支援プ ロジェクトに参加したことに より、モンゴル銀行は内部改 革をせざるを得なくなってい る。拡張経済支援プロジェク トの可決から2ヵ月後に政府 が仕事始めで子ども手当ての 支給を始めたことについて国 際通貨基金は批判している、 とした。

大統領選挙の決選投票は７日にあった。最大野党・民主党推薦のハルトマー・バトトルガ氏陣営は８日未明、記者会見を開き、勝利宣言を行った。

　7日はモンゴル史上初の決選投票日。6月26日の大統領選挙ではM.エンフボルド氏（モンゴル人民党）は41万1748票（30.32％）、Kh.バトトルガ氏（民主党）は51万7478票（38.11％）、s.ガンバートル氏（モンゴル人民革命党）は40万9899票（30.19％）をそれぞれ獲得し、いずれの候補者も過半数を得られなかった。

エルデネバト首相、地元セレンゲ県を視察
6月21日、J.エルデネバト首相が地元セレン ゲ県マンダル郡やバヤンゴル郡を訪れた。エルデネバト首相 は「経済は青信号となった」と経済の立ち直りをアピールし た。首相職についてから10カ月しか経っていないが、その 間、財政赤字額の縮小と国家歳入も増額しつつある、と地元住民との対話で語った。
