Wrestlers to compete in Grand Prix tournament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Wrestlers of men’s selected team will take part in the 7th international freestyle wrestling Grand Prix that will run this October 3-5 in Yakutsk city of Russia in a memory of coach Dmitriy Korkin.

Coached by O.Purevbaatar, the Mongolian team has B.Nemekhbayar IMS (61kg), D.Gonbodorj IMS (74kg) and L.Tortogtokh MS (86kg). A head of the board of referees of the Freestyle Wrestling Federation of Mongolia Ts.Sereeter has been included in the judges’ panel of the Grand Prix.

The tournament’s prize fund will have USD 64,000, a gold medalist in each category will receive USD 3,000, runner-up--USD 2,000 and bronze medalist--USD 1,000. A coach of the gold medalist will be awarded USD 1,000.
