President Ts.Elbegdorj starts visit to China
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj Monday started his state visit to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) by invitation of his Chinese counterpart Mr Xi Jinping.
First, the President Elbegdorj visited Shaanxi province and received Mr Lou Qinjian, the governor of Shaanxi on November 9. Mr Elbegdorj said Mongolia will support the “One region-one road” initiated by China, adding that a Mongolian aimag wants to establish friendly ties and cooperation with Shaanxi province.
Shaanxi is one of leading provinces in China for its scientific and technological development and educational sector, the province governor Lou said, "we are ready to boost a cooperation with Mongolia in the spheres of infrastructure and education".
After this Mr Elbegdorj visited a Statue of Qin Shi Huang in the province.
