President partakes in Mongolia-Myanmar business forum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In frames of his working visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj took part in the Mongolia-Myanmar business forum on June 15. He expressed in the opening remarks his satisfaction with the activated development of bilateral relations and intensified interaction between businesses in the recent years.

The president noted that there is abundance of opportunities for Mongolia and Myanmar to collectively strive for growth and to exchange practices, given many similarities in history, culture and natural resources.

Mongolia will always be open to share its experiences and lessons of developing democracy and human rights and improving rule of law and justice, he said.

President Ts.Elbegdorj mentioned about the Law on Future Generation /Sovereign Wealth Fund, with a purpose to save the share of mining revenue for the next generations, the importance of exporting value-added final products and privatization of properties.

Underlining the development of industry and animal husbandry, he said that cooperation of the two countries in these sectors are crucial.

Also, he added that a favorable environment has been established for the two nations to develop tourism cooperation. The President concluded his speech by wishing success in the further works of the business forum organizers and participants.

After this, President Ts.Elbegdorj legged the National Museum of Myanmar in Naypyidaw, and signed the honored guest book.
