Mongolian Buddhist monks in Karnataka celebrated Naadam festival
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian Buddhist monks and students from the largest Tibetan monastery Goman Datsan in Hubli of Karnataka state (India) celebrated Naadam festival on July 12.
In the beginning of Naadam festival, Buddhist monks prayed for peace and well-being of Mongolia and the Mongolian people. Then, traditional wrestling competition was held among top 128 wrestlers, as well as horse racing and archery competitions were staged.
More than 380 students are studying in this Tibetan monastery Goman Datsan.
