Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has reported that the maximum precipitation of July 2016 was recorded at 178.5 mm in Bulgan aimag’s Bulgan soum.

Dornod aimag’s Choibalsan soum had the highest air temperature (40.0°C), while Bayankhongor aimag’s Bayanbulag soum had the lowest air temperature (4.2°C) in July 2016.

Maximum wind speed reached 29 m/sec in Uvs aimag’s Zavkhan soum. As measured by over 10 air quality monitoring stations, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide exceeded by 1-28 times, dust content with less than 2.5 micron exceeded 2-5 times and dust content with less than 10 micron have exceeded the maximum acceptable level by 2-21 times in the atmosphere of Ulaanbaatar.
