Mongolian Academy of Sciences to cooperate with American Center for Mongolian Studies

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) D.Regdel met Resident Director of the American Center for Mongolian Studies Tricia Turbold on February 22.
The Center renders intermediation service to provide opportunity to cooperate American Mongolists with Mongolian scientists and to make researches in Mongolia. Besides of it, the Center grants scholarships to American and Mongolian scientists especially for protecting cultural heritage. Through the center researchers used to come to make researches in language, cultural, art and historical field, while study topics are broadening in recent years. Therefore, Ms.Tricia requested to back foreign Mongolists and give opportunity to collaborate with Mongolian scholars. Moreover, she expressed the center's possibility to organize training among young scientists of the Academy on how to write scientific article in English.

In the end of the meeting, the President of the MAS D.Regdel requested the center to collaborate with the Institutes of History and Archaeology and Language and Literature, encouraging young scientists. Also he expressed readiness of the Academy to co-work with the Center in direction of backing Mongolian study.
The sides agreed to establish a memorandum of cooperation.
