Protocol of Intergovernmental Commission Meeting Signed

Ulaanbaatar, December 22, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 27th regular meeting of the Mongolia–Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held in Ulaanbaatar on December 19, 2025.
Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Gankhuyag Khassuuri and
Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation Alexander
Aleksandrovich Kozlov signed a Protocol of the meeting.
In addition, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the General Authority for Land Administration, Geodesy and Cartography of Mongolia and the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of Russia, as well as a Plan to develop cooperation in the field of physical education and sports for 2026–2028 between the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.

At the commission’s meeting, the parties reviewed the
implementation of decisions from the 26th meeting. They also discussed ways to
strengthen bilateral relations, trade, economic and investment cooperation,
implement the Interim Free Trade Agreement between Mongolia and the Eurasian
Economic Union, and update the program for establishing the
Mongolia–Russia–China Economic Corridor.
Furthermore, they exchanged views on deepening cooperation
in areas including regional forums, industrial product supply, tourism,
science, agriculture, health and epidemiology, culture and sports, and agreed
on major initiatives to be implemented in the coming years, as well as measures
to accelerate ongoing and planned joint projects.
