Selenge aimag launches tourism information center

Selenge /MONTSAME/ Selenge aimag launched a tourism information center, located near the main gate of the aimag on October 30.
Initiated by the Governor of the aimag, the tourism information center building was constructed with the joint financing of the Governor of the aimag and the Integrated
Mineral Resources Initiative program.
Besides providing information about Selenge aimag and tourist camps to domestic and foreign tourists, the seasonal information center will promote the aimag brand products to increase their sales.
Selenge aimag has huge potential to develop tourism using its advantages including its infrastructure development and historical sites and stunning landscapes.
The launch ceremony was
held with participation of Chairwoman of the Governor’s Office of the aimag
U.Suvdaa, Head of the Integrated Mineral Resources Initiative program
of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Karin Reinprecht,
specialist of the program Ch.Oyun-Erdene and other representatives.
