New building of capital city government to serve as COVID-19 emergency care site

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The State Emergency Commission and the Emergency Commission of the capital city have begun making preparations at sites where hospital beds can be opened up in response to COVID-19.
The new building of the Ulaanbaatar City Government located in Yarmag has been designated as an emergency care site and officials are now creating 145 beds there. The emergency care center will provide services for people who are in serious need of hospital treatment and those waiting for hospital beds.
As of today, June 21, around 400 children aged under 18 and over 500 pregnant women have been infected with coronavirus and they are in need of hospital treatment.
