Pet Owners of Mongolia to Bring Their Trusty Companions at Sukhbaatar Square

Ulaanbaatar, April 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Citizens' Representatives Khural of the Capital City and the Governor’s Office of the Capital City partnered with the “Aztai Savar” NGO to organize a special event for pet adorers at Sukhbaatar Square on April 12, 2025.
This will be the
first ever event addressing pet rights in Mongolia, featuring panel
discussions, competition for cats and dogs, and a best of the best pet
nomination. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive advice from
professional veterinarians, as well as explore various pet supply shops and pet
food exhibitions.
The event aims at raising awareness about pet rights,
influencing public attitudes toward pets, and contributing to improving the
country's pet rights policies and animal welfare laws and regulations. This
event, to be held in observance of International Pet Rights Day, will be open
to everyone.
To attend, pet owners must make sure their dogs are wearing
a muzzle, vaccinated, free of illness, and bring disposable bags for waste.
Please note that food stations will not permit dogs in the area.
