Oath-taking ceremony held at State House

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On the Day of Proclamation or November 26, an ‘Oath-taking ceremony of a citizen of Mongolia’ was held at the State House. Representatives from 64,375 youth who are now getting 16 years old and citizen’s identity cards of Mongolia, attended the ceremony, patronized by the Prime Minister and organized for the 15th time.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister U. Khurelsukh delivered congratulations and wished success to them.   
“A law on youth development will come into force from January 1, 2018. By doing so, nine districts of Ulaanbaatar and 21 aimags will have youth development centers to render comprehensive services, including psychological and family planning advices, health, legal and intermediary services and employment supports. As a Prime Minister of Mongolia, I will support actions, policies and programs that contribute to the future of children and youth,” said PM.

After taking the oath, the youth were granted citizen’s identity cards by MPs, Government members, leading representatives of arts, culture, sport, business and social sectors.
