Elmar Gasanov to bring world classics to Mongolian stage

The world-famous Ukrainian pianist Elmar Gasanov has been invited to Mongolia, to stage a one-time elite concert on October 31, for the grand opening of The Corporate Hotel & Convention Centre’s high-class concert hall. 

The pianist has visited here once before, to perform at the ceremony for launching first sales of Kawai musical instruments in Mongolia

On Saturday, Gasanov will play Beethoven’s Sonata 23 op.57 “Appasionata”, Russian composer Rakhmaninov’s “Variations on a Theme of Corelli”, Brahms’s Piano quintet f moll op.34, and other rarely performed world classics, on the Kawai piano, which has 90 years history.

At the concert, Russian violin quartet “RusQuaret” will also perform.
