Ulaanbaatar and Essen City to Expand Health Cooperation

Ulaanbaatar, May 27, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On May 26, 2025, Deputy Governor of the Capital City in charge of the Social Sector, Green Development, and Air and Environmental Pollution Amartuvshin Amgalanbayar and Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs, Labor, and Health of the City of Essen of the Federal Republic of Germany Peter Renzel signed an agreement to expand health cooperation.
Under the Cooperation Agreement, the two sides will deepen cooperation in hospital hygiene, infection prevention and control, and introduce innovative approaches to home-based care services for persons with developmental challenges. Furthermore, the two sides will collaborate with the Ulaanbaatar Emergency Management Agency to strengthen disaster preparedness, improve emergency response mechanisms, and enhance fire prevention efforts.
