Foreign Minister Battsetseg Meets Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel

Ulaanbaatar, September 24, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh, held a meeting with Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's 80th Session General Debate in New York.
During the meeting, Minister Battsetseg expressed appreciation to the Government of Luxembourg for its continued support in developing Mongolia’s health sector, highlighting Luxembourg’s contribution to the establishment of the National Cardiovascular Center at the Third Central Hospital and the implementation of the second phase of the “Prevention and Reduction of Heart Diseases” project in collaboration with UNICEF.
The two sides exchanged in-depth views on bilateral relations and cooperation, and affirmed plans to organize high-level visits in celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Luxembourg next year.
