Memorandum of Understanding Signed

Ulaanbaatar, September 26, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation.
The MoU was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh and Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Ervin Ibrahimović during their meeting on the sidelines of the General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed in detail the possibilities of expanding the traditional friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Montenegro in mutually interested areas. The Ministers of Foreign Affairs also exchanged views on visits and events to be held next year in the framework of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Montenegro.
The sides underlined that the two countries have been actively cooperating within the United Nations and other international organizations and reaffirmed their commitment to continue this tradition, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mongolia and Montenegro established diplomatic relations on November 30, 2006.
