Mongolian Advocates Host Pro Bono Day for 12th Year

Ulaanbaatar, May 29, 2024 /MONTSAME/. With the support of the Judicial General Council of Mongolia and the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar City, the Association of Mongolian Advocates hosted the free legal advice day at Sukhbaatar Square on May 27, 2024.
Member of the Judicial General Council N. Baasanjav highlighted that the pro bono day is being organized for the 12th year. He thanked the Association of Mongolian Advocates, participating organizations, and their employees. He suggests the Mongolian Bar Association allows volunteer lawyers who participate in the event to earn credit hours so that the event attracts more professional lawyers making it more valuable and beneficial.
Lawyers from the Capital City's Administrative Court of First Instance, as well as the Criminal Courts of First Instance of Bayanzurkh, Sukhbaatar, and Chingheltei Districts, participated in the event. They provided advice and information about court services to citizens and distributed books and manuals free of charge.
