The National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia announced that in the event of potential hazard or risk, individuals can report incidents with the what3words platform, a three-word address, and recommended downloading this application from the Playstore or Appstore, depending on the mobile operating system.
Receiving regular weather forecasts and ensuring technical equipment and personal preparation can protect citizens, herders, and transport operators from potential risks.
In situations where an individual reporting an incident is unaware of their exact location or unable to provide coordinates, they can send the three-word address using the “what3words” program on their smartphone, whether online or offline. By doing that, emergency responders can pinpoint their location, thereby providing timely and efficient assistance.
