MPP Conference Holds First Session, Elects New Leadership

Ulaanbaatar, November 19, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The newly formed Conference of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP), established by the Party’s 31st Congress, held its first meeting on November 18, 2025, and elected the party’s leadership team.
At the nomination of MPP
Chairman Uchral Nyam-Osor, Sodbaatar Yangug was reappointed as
Secretary-General of the Party. The MPP Conference also elected N. Enkhbaatar,
B. Purevdavaa, O. Zolbayar, S. Munkhunchimeg, and M. Tselmuun as full-time
Secretaries, and D. Sumiyabazar, B. Choijilsuren, and D. Munkhsaikhan as
part-time Secretaries. A total of 39 members were approved to serve on the Party’s
Board. Ts. Norovjamts was appointed as the Party’s Internal Financial Auditor.
In addition, the Conference elected P. Munkhtur as Chairman of the MPP Supervisory Committee, and B. Amarsanaa as Deputy Chairman and Chair of the Ethics Committee.
