Export of meat and meat products to be intensively increased
On November 28, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh worked at ‘Makh market’ and ‘Makh impex’ companies, as a representation of producers of meat and meat products. According to the livestock census of 2016, it reached 61.5 million heads of livestock; 27.8 million heads of sheep, 25.5 million goats, 3.6 million horses, 4.0 million cows and 400 thousand camels. For domestic use, around 10-12 million heads of livestock and meat are consumed annually.
