Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian opera singer E.Ankhbayar won the second place in the International Opera Competition which was held in Vienna, Austria. The competition was attended by almost 140 opera singers from 39 countries.

Health Minister works in Tuv aimag
Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Last Saturday, Health Minister D. Sarangerel, UNFPA Mongolia Country Representative Naomi Kitahara and heads of some health organizations of Mongolia worked in the Central Hospital of Tuv aimag to see the hospital’s activity and operations of telemedicine equipment, installed in the central hospitals of 21 aimags with the financing of UNFPA.

State of corruption being examined in aimags
The Independent Authority against Corruption’s (IAAC) working groups headed by department chairs of the Authority are working in aimags to define state of corruption there. The working groups worked in Khovd, Bayan-Ulgii, Uvs, Bayankhongor, Gobi-Altai, Zavkhan, Khentii, Dornod and Sukhbaatar aimags from Octeber 29  to November 10 and planned to work in Bulgan, Darkhan-Uul, Selenge, Dundgobi, Umnugobi, Uvurkhangai, Arkhangai, Khuvsgul and Orkhon on November 12-14.
