在蒙古国技术监督局局长纳·查钢呼的提倡下，2017年年初同中国内蒙古检查检疫局领导人员共同进行的会晤期间探讨在扎门乌德口岸设置消毒灭菌设施问题，并定用中国内蒙古二连浩特市人民政府无偿援助137万元完成建设。该消毒灭菌设施建设工程于2017年8月启动，目前共投入150万元即5.55亿蒙图，该设施能够自动检测过境交通工具、具有调制消毒剂、造雾气消毒等功能，符合国际标准要求的最先进技术设备。
