据对外关系部新闻办报道，根据蒙古国与中国政府间2004年“关于边境口岸及其指定”协定4.3条，正值蒙古大可汗成吉思汗诞辰855周年即“蒙古国自豪日”之际，蒙中边境公路口岸将于11月19日闭关。而国际列车车次和航班照常进行客运。
