据警察总署新闻办报道，蒙古国警察总署与韩国检察院刑事警察局禁毒署共同成功实施 ”提高应对麻醉品和神精药品非法买卖能力-2017”项目。在该项目框架内，蒙古国禁毒署已启动使用英国Smiths Detection公司两台IONSCAN 600设备。该设备是便于携带、具有高感应功能的探测器。该探测器是能够精细检测爆炸物、毒品和麻醉药品的最先进技术，被世界各个大国机场、海关广泛使用。
