Preparation group for ASEP9 meets
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ B.Boldbaatar, the Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Office and head of the working group of preparation for the 9th Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP9) Meeting in UB, heard reports on ongoing preparation at a meeting on Wednesday.
He reminded related officials that proper focus must be on their collaboration. As of today, the ASEP9 has registered some 150 delegates from 32 countries and the European Parliament to participate. Parliament Speakers of India, Italy, Thailand and Pakistan and Deputy Speakers of 11 countries such as Australia, Indonesia, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Vietnam and Spain will come.
The 9th Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP9) Meeting is to take place this April 21-22 in Ulaanbaatar. Other meetings will also run within the 11th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar, for instance, the ASEM Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) May 12-13, the 12th ASEM Finance Ministers’ Meeting, and the workshop on Asia-Europe Food Safety and Farmers--in June.
