Wrestlers grab medals in Poland Open

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Women’s national team for wrestling bagged medals in the Poland Open 2016 tournament that took place on June 17-19 in Spala city.

International master of sports P.Orkhon captured gold medal in the women’s -60 kg division. In the preliminary rounds, she beat her three opponents of the host country. In the finals, she defeated her country woman B.Shoovdor IMS with scores 7:0.

In the women’s -69 kg bout, O.Nasanburmaa won silver medal, while Sh.Tumentsetseg claimed bronze medal. In the gold medal contest, a Swedish wrestler and 2012 world champion Jenny Fransson received the win because of a foot injury in our wrestler.
