Mongolians make the largest hunnu-style deel
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ More than 50 dressmakers of the Batzuu company made the largest in the world hunnu style deel. It took them 2 months to make it happen.
The design of the deel is similar to that found in Hunnu Tomb in the territory of Delherkhaan soum of Khentii aimag. The length of hunnu deel is 14 meters and width is 18 meters. A half million meters of fabrics was used for making such a huge deel.
This unique outfit was made by dressmakers of the Batzuu on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of their company. They used a traditional khan costume patterns and other national patterns and appliqués to decorate this hunnu deel. This outfit is kept at the National Museum of Mongolian History.
Besides, leaders of the Batzuu are planning to register the giant hunnu style deel in the Guinness Book of Records.
The Batzuu is a national manufacturer of Mongolia well known for its school uniforms.
