Second meeting of study possibilities to establish Mongolia-South Korea EPA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/  A second meeting of a joint research team to study the possibilities of economic partnership agreement /EPA/ between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea took place on April 27 in Seoul, South Korea. 
The meeting, co-chaired by V.Enhkbold, Director of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Yoo Myung-hee, Director General for FTA Negotiations, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy from Korea, was attended by representatives from Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Institute of International Relations of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, National University of Mongolia and Customs Agency of Mongolia and researchers from Korea Institute of Energy Research /KIER/. 
 
At the meeting, the parties presented the progress of of each of their studies and ran discussions. Also, they exchanged views on further work plans and agreed to organize a third meeting by in July 2017 in Ulaanbaatar.
