Horse Festival to take place in Bulgan aimag next July

Bulgan /MONTSAME/ Next July, Horse Festival will take place in a place called Dondog bulag (meaning Dondog water well) near the Urmiin White Lake in Bulgan aimag. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of Bulgan aimag, the Horse Festival will be organized for the first time with an aim to develop tourism in rural areas of Mongolia, to promote equestrian culture, traditions of Mongolian herders and airag - fermented milk of mares - traditional beverage of Mongolia. 

With 'Saikhan agtiin unaga’ LLC, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and Governor's Office of Bulgan aimag working as organizers,  the festival will be sponsored by ‘Bulgan development-Enebish foundation’.
