Mongolia-Russia consular consultative meeting takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 22, the fifteenth consular consultative meeting between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Russia took place in Ulaanbaatar. At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues concerning consular affairs and protection of citizens’ rights and other issues of bilateral cooperation. The consular consultative meeting was headed by Ya.Ariunbold, Director of Consular Department of Mongolian Foreign Ministry and N.M.Latipov, Vice Director of Consular Department of Russian Foreign Ministry.
The meeting agenda revolved around the implementation of bilateral agreements between Mongolia and Russia, current state of consular affairs and cooperation for protecting the rights of citizens of the two countries and facilitating border crossings.
The meeting was of significance to move forward some issues of bilateral relations and strengthen consular ties.
