National Blood Transfusion Research Center opens branch in Bulgan aimag

Bulgan /MONTSAME/ Mongolian National Blood Transfusion Research Center opened its division in Bulgan aimag. G.Tuya, assistant doctor of the Bulgan aimag division of the National Blood Transfusion Research Center said that a blood bank of Bulgan aimag has been widened to a division in the scope of a project 'Health sector development-5' with an investment from the World Health Organization and Asian Development Bank. Maintenance and repair works amounting to MNT 55 million and equipment of MNT 432 million have been provided for the division.
"Now, blood products and blood plasma can be kept for two years and more lives would be saved thanks to the new division" she added. The division of the National Blood Transfusion Research Center in Bulgan aimag will make various blood products to provide medical hospitals as it is equipped with modern techniques and equipment.
