President Kh.Battulga met with Ambassador of Turkmenistan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Mongolia Chinar Tadjievna Rustamova today, on August 15.

At the beginning of meeting, Ambassador Chinar Rustamova presented President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow’s congratulatory letter to President Kh.Battulga on his election, as well as an invitation to the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games expected to take place in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in September.

After expressing his gratitude, President Kh.Battulga said he’s unable to attend the event due to busy schedules and addressed to support Mongolian team participating in the tournament.

“The event will involve athletes from a total of 64 countries and 183 athletes are participating from Mongolia, which equals the number of Chinese athletes” said Ambassador Chinar Rustamova.  

President Kh.Battulga addressed the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and expressed to broaden the traditional relations between Mongolia and Turkmenistan in the next 4 years. Furthermore, Mr. President noted that Mongolia should study the practices of Turkmenistan’s efficient use of natural resources and fast growth, as the country announced major projects worth USD 134 billion investment.

Ambassador Chinar Rustamova said “Turkmenistan is ranked four with their natural gas resource. Through People's Republic of China, Turkmenistan can export Natural gas and import meat products from Mongolia” and highlighted the high demand of Mongolian cashmere.

Furthermore, Ambassador Rustamova delivered President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow’s message, inviting President Kh.Battulga to Turkmenistan whenever he’s available. President Kh.Battulga gratefully accepted the invitation.
