Ways of reducing air and environmental pollution being discussed

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ A discussion themed ‘Civil participation in reducing air and environmental pollution’ opened Thursday in the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry on October 12.
Co-organized by Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar and the Law Enforcement University, the discussion is being held with participation of officials from governmental organizations, NGOs, researchers, businessmen and individuals.
Officials informed that the discussion aims to consider outcomes of research works and solutions on increasing citizens’ role in making Ulaanbaatar city’s environment and air safer, reducing air pollution consequences to health.
During the event, environmentally-friendly tools and equipments, such as, eco-friendly electrical and gas heaters, insulation of ger and houses, renewable energy facilities, bio fuels and air purifiers will be introduced.
