New director appointed at Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet appointed a new Director at the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia (MRPAM) on December 6.
Kh.Kherlen, former Chairman of Board of Directors of Darkhan Metallurgical Plant JSC was appointed as Director, succeeding D.Baatartsogt.
Kh.Kherlen was born in 1967 in Khentii aimag. He graduated from the now Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) in 1991 and also pursued legal science at the National University of Mongolia. He earned a Master’s Degree from the MUST in 2009.
He has worked as Head of Department of Cadaster at the MRPAM, Deputy Head of Department of Light Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Head of Department of State Property Administration at the State Property Committee, CEO of ‘HTM’ LLC, Chairman of Board of Directors of Mongolia-Bulgaria Joint Venture ‘Monbulgargeo’ LLC and ‘Mongol Post’ JSC and Deputy Chairman of Mongolian Railway state-owned company.
