N.Tserenbat: Ministry to focus attention on developing ecotourism

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Environment and Tourism N.Tserenbat met delegation from China’s Rural Education Development Center on January 4.
The center launched action to develop tourism through eco villages and currently it is cooperating with Russia and the Republic of Belarus in this direction. Secretary General of the Center Zeng Jian Cheng expressed willingness to cooperate with Mongolia, sharing their experiences on establishing eco villages and developing tourism as Mongolia intends to boost borderland tourism.
Minister N.Tserenbat said the Ministry set objectives to become one of the priority sectors by developing environmentally friendly tourism and the Ministry is ready to collaborate with the center. “We will focus attention on developing eco tourism,” noted the Minister.
