Cashmere program to increase export

The program will be realized in two stages over four years. As estimated, over 5500 permanent job places will be preserved and 19.8 million textile and knit products worth MNT 2.2-4.3 trillion will be exported.
Last year, Mongolia produced 5413 tons scoured cashmere, 509 tons of combed cashmere and 915 thousand textile clothes, of which 10 per cent was textile and knit final products.
