President meets journalists working in provinces

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ About 100 journalists working in provinces attended the annual ‘Citizens’ Right to Information’ meeting, held on April 6 in the State House.

The rural journalists gathered in UIaanbaatar for their annual spring meeting and other activities. As per the request of the Provincial Press Association, the meeting was held in cooperation with the President’s Office, and President Kh.Battulga attended the event.

Before taking questions, the President remarked, “I believe that the people who gathered here today can speak on behalf of not only the residents of the 21 provinces, but the nation as a whole.”

Z.Enkhbold, Chief of Staff of the President’s Office was also present and reported on the functions, latest activities and plans of the Office of the head of state. “President Kh.Battulga pledged to be a president who listens to the people. Within his constitutional power, the President will be proposing several bills to the Parliament based on the outcome of his meetings," he noted.

The President has been holding meetings in provinces and districts of the capital city and plans to complete provincial working trip within this month.
