MP D.Lundeejantsan meets Russian delegates

19, D.Lundeejantsan, MP and chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on State Structure, received Russian delegates headed by Andrey
Klishas, Chairperson of the Council of the Federation Committee on
Constitutional Legislation and State Building, the Federal Assembly of the
Russian Federation.
At the meeting, Mr. Lundeejantsan expressed his satisfaction with close cooperation between legislative bodies of the two countries and briefed about structure of the Mongolia’s Parliament, functions of the Standing Committee on State Structure and some laws.
Noting the developing bilateral
regional, trade, economic and investment cooperation, Mr.
Lundeejantsan said he hopes that Russian President V.Putin will arrive for
celebration event to mark the anniversary of Khalkhgol Victory. He also informed that
Mongolia’s Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh is to pay a visit to Russian Federation.
During the meeting, Mr.
Lundeejantsan also stressed that the large scale constructional works which were
running within the bilateral cooperation became stagnant in recent years and
asked support for effectively resolving the issues, including technical modernization
of Ulaanbaatar Railways joint venture and projects to be implemented in energy
sector.
Mr. Klishas introduced present political situation and regional elections in Russia and upcoming celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Russia. He also gave detailed information about availability of Russian citizens to vote by online.
