Number of students to study in Hungary to increase

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. State Secretary of Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports B.Bayarsaikhan met with State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Paksi Tomasic and Chairman of Hungarian Scholarship Committee Gabor Dobos.


The 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Hungary will be marked in 2020. Emphasizing that Mongolia and Hungary have developed brotherhood relations, especially in the field of culture, science and education, State Secretary of Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports B.Bayarsaikhan expressed her gratitude towards the Government of Hungary for providing scholarship to 200 Mongolian students each year and establishing cooperation programs in the field of education, culture and science to be implemented in 2018-2021.


During the meeting, Mongolian students shared information on how they are studying in Hungary. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports focuses on the full use of student quotas provided by the Government of Hungary, encouraging qualified students to study hard and obtain high quality education. The number of students who are wishing to study in Hungary have increased in recent years. Therefore, Mongolian side expressed their desire to increase the number of scholarship recipients on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
