Stable weather expected for the New Year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Stable weather is expected in most parts of the country on the first days of the coming year.
No snow is expected from January 1 to 5. Wind speed will reach 5-10 m/sec in most parts of the country.
In the depression of Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the temperature will range from -38 to -43 degrees Celsius during the night, and -27 to -32 during the day.
In the depression of Lake Uvs, near Khurenbelchir, in mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, and in the basins of Eg-Uur, Orkhon-Selenge, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon. Ulz and Khalkh rivers, the temperature will be -30 to -35 during the night, and -19 to -24 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the temperature will be -19 to -24 during the night, and -9 to -14 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -27 to -32 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be -15 to -20 degrees Celsius.
