Environmental Research Center newly established
EnvironmentUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Under a Record of Discussion signed on August 20, 2014, between the governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, an environmental research center with a floor area of 2,135 square meters has been built.
Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has
presented the key to the new center that features lecture hall, laboratory, and
other facilities to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism together with
relating documents and reports and manuals for the equipment installed in the center.
In addition to conducting training and promotional
activities aimed at reducing environmental pollution, the Environmental
Research Center will ensure the implementation of environmental management
plans of projects and conduct evaluation
and research on natural resources.
